General Information

We lost four teams at the end of last season, Scholes,Burscough Bridge, Ashworth, and Downall Green, who went into the Warrington League. It is with deep regret that we have to announce the passing away of Roy Clough, one of the Leagues Life Vice Presidents, Roy will be sadly missed as will his knowledge, wit, and humour. Roy had been connected to the League in various ways for over 50 years. Our condolances go out to his wife and family.

New Teams

We welcome the new teams who are Aspull J.F.C., A.F.C.Scholes, Wigan SMR, who are from the West Lancs League, and Coppull Celtic, formerly The Red Herring, from the Chorley Alliance League.

New Committee Member

We welcome Bill Watts who takes over from Bill McKnight as Insurance Officer. Bill was Secretary of Marus Bridge for many years.
